DMC Power contacted Hitsman Design for help in creating a computer-generated electrical substation to showcase a number of their components and their uses in a series of Multi-Media videos.
We set about cleaning up an existing sub-station model they had purchased. Once the cleanup was complete, we created and applied all materials to the scene.
We were sent a number of their parts to be showcased in a Solid Works file format, which we converted or re-modeled in our preferred software 3DS Max.
The final step was creating realistic materials which we achieved by using Adobe Substance Painter.
A number of animated sequences were created in 3DS Max which were subsequently combined with some VFX, Audio and a few “Real Life” images for the completed videos linked below.
